Privacy Policy – BP: Tracker
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use BP: Tracker (the “App”). We keep this page up to date; changes appear in the “Changes” section.
Summary
- Health data stays on your device. We do not transmit your blood pressure readings, notes, or heart rate to our servers.
- No ads. No data selling. No third-party tracking for advertising.
- Analytics enabled. We collect limited, non-health usage data to improve the App.
Data We Handle
1) Health & notes (on device only)
- Blood pressure readings (systolic, diastolic)
- Heart rate (bpm)
- Measurement date & time
- Optional notes you add
Storage: saved locally on your device. Transfer: not sent to us. You may export or share your data yourself.
2) Device-level data
The App may process basic device information required to function (e.g., iOS version, language, error logs). This is not transmitted to us unless you choose to share logs.
3) Usage analytics
We collect non-health interaction events (e.g., screens viewed, feature usage, crash/error events) via a third-party analytics provider. We do not include your health measurements in analytics events.
- Purpose: app quality, performance, and feature decisions.
- Identifiers: device or instance identifiers generated by the SDK; no name or email unless you provide it in support.
How We Use Your Data
- Provide core functionality: record, view, and manage your measurements on your device.
- Improve the App through aggregated, non-health usage metrics.
- Respond to your support requests if you contact us.
What We Do Not Do
- No selling of personal data.
- No targeted advertising or cross-app tracking.
- No sharing of your health measurements with third parties.
Data Sharing
We do not share your health data. If you export a file or share a report, the transfer occurs under your control using the channels you choose (e.g., Mail, Files).
For analytics, limited usage data may be processed by the analytics provider as our service provider, under their terms. We require that such providers process data on our behalf and not for their own advertising purposes.
Data Retention
- On-device health data: kept until you delete it or uninstall the App.
- Analytics events: retained by the analytics provider for a limited period consistent with diagnostics and performance improvement.
- Support emails: kept as long as needed to address your request and for record-keeping, then deleted or anonymized.
Your Choices & Rights
- You can edit or delete your measurements in the App.
- You can uninstall the App to remove local data from your device.
- Contact us if you want us to delete support records that identify you.
If applicable in your region (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Security
We do not currently apply additional security measures beyond those provided by your device and operating system (e.g., passcode, Face ID/Touch ID, iCloud backups). Protecting your device is essential for the safety of your data.
Children
The App is not directed to children under the age required by local law without parental consent. If you believe a child provided personal data to us, contact us and we will address it.
International Transfers
Usage data for analytics may be processed on servers outside your country. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required by law.
Third-Party Services
The App may contain links or integrations you choose to use (e.g., share sheets, email). Their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies before sharing data.
Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be highlighted here with a new effective date. Continued use of the App means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
